A college is a place where there are a lot of things to do and students often try exploring n number of things unless they get to know their favorite space where they should go along. Here we are gonna discuss how to start with Python and how to fetch an Internship for Backend Development roles.

The first thing to do is Choose your Programming Language, I would suggest going for Python because it's very easy to learn, and in a recent survey by Stack Overflow, Python emerged as “ The Most Learned Language”. There are lots of use cases of Python in an actual industry whether it be in ML, Data Science, or Core Development.

The point is, Python is the language that has the use case in almost every company out there.

So great till here, you might have chosen your language. So start doing Data Structures and Algorithms in that language.

If you have chosen Python so you can have a look at Amulya’s Academy on Youtube. First, do the basic practice of problem-solving so you would be comfortable with syntax and logic. After doing the basics of it then start DSA from the same channel if your language is Python. Try to reach up to LinkedList and Binary Search Trees.

Keep doing DSA because there are many topics that one should explore other than what I mentioned above.

Do some Projects too because that's what gives you an edge during your interview. If your language is python. You can try doing many projects out there. I would suggest you do a project on Backend Web Development using Django. You can refer Youtube channel: CodingEntrpreneurs.

After doing a project, Make sure to put your project on Github. This would make you learn Git as well.

You can follow along with the youtube tutorial because this is the only way to start your tech journey.

Look, I will be honest. At the very start, things would be tough to understand but once you give your 1–2 months sincerely, that would fill you with a lot of confidence. Till here we discussed making ourselves suitable for an internship.

So far you would have learned about Python, DSA, Django framework and Git.

Now go ahead, start looking for Internships.

The best platform is LinkedIn, Internshala and many more are there.

Go create your account, LinkedIn and Internshala are great places where you will see many Internships being posted by companies.

So that was all about it.
